Tama-chan’s Fresh Yaki-niku Sauce
Iwatani’s Yakimaru has finally arrived!
When it comes to ta-re sauce, you can now enjoy yaki-niku at home as much as you like.
I love the simple fruity yaki-niku sauce from Kansai. Now and then I would go and buy from‘Itamaeyakiniku-itto’.It it doesn’t keep for a long time.
Normally, I use by blending Stamina gentare and Hatsuda sauce sold at Isetan Kyoto with Ebara’s Kogane no aji (a force to be reckoned with). The newcomer sauce though is a real revelation. If you like using the sauce to sauté specialties like horumon it should be delicious.
In short, the ta-re sauce fits our tastebuds at home. Theres also a fruity sweetness but its not necessary to mix with a strong shōyu soy sauce. Its good enough by itself. It’s not limited to yaki-niku either and likely goes with all kinds of dishes. Like grilled nasu (aubergine) for example.
Since the taste might be intensified by a little garlic, make sure you know your next days schedule before you start experimenting!
