A few ‘blue’ works by Rothko went to auction this May at Christie’s. Rothko is well known for using red but I personally prefer his "blue" or "deep-green"paintings.

However, this black and red piece at MOMA is still the best. Alongside Picasso, nothing was lost.

The balance of these 2 combined is also fantastic.
