I DJ-ed at Setagaya’s RISE BAR in and Harajuku’s MONKBERRY.

Hip-hip records were still quite small.

By 1984, songs like one by SUPREME TEAM were played on the radio.

It might have been the one with the radio programme using the telephone, but I’m not sure. It may also have been something like the ZULU BEAT SHOW.

Back then, the one song played every week without fail was ‘Request Line’.

Generally, I didn’t like this as much as the B-side ‘The Roof is On Fire’ which I preferred a lot more.
