I want a Summilux 50mm lens but there was a 35mm lens as well but I bought a Summicron as I saw that it was easier to use. It seem possible to shoot without paying much attention to focus.
Then the screen suddenly gave the ominous warning “Check Battery Age”. And charging doesn’t fix the problem. This message seemed to appear on Leica M (Type 240) released all at once around 3 years ago, and seems to be a confirmation-like message regarding battery life around servicing. It doesn’t bother me though, as I can still use it. It seems as if they’re considering a firmware update to remove or change the warning message to something more appropriate. Bit of a quick fix though …
