Gyoza-no-Ohsho, Sakuragicho
Speaking of Chinese, what about ‘Sanyou’ the ramen restaurant around Noge?
t’s interesting but quite aggressive (first off you have to order the Chicken with leak as well as Gyoza dumplings) and the atmosphere is rough and ready (as well as quite rude) so didn’t spontaneously head over. Though it is fun to go there with a large group.
Well, apparently there is a Chinese community in this neighbourhood. No. According to fans, Japan’s best is said to be ‘Gyoza-no-Ohsho’,in front of Sakuragicho Station, to be precise.
I was interested in it for some time, but only had a small drink as I wanted to go home early. This time was better prepared so stopped by. The set menu was a good bargain so had a small drink, along with some ‘Cha-han’ (fried rice).
To be honest, because I don’t usually come here I don’t really know the difference. But it is certainly a little different here. For English-speaking tourists it’s possible to order in English, with a member of staff who will take the order no matter how complicated or joke-ridden the English is. You can even pay with credit card here, but only here. Certainly the menu’s wide variety may also make it the best in Japan.
