Mondo Mondo

Before, Daniel from the band ‘inc.’ told me he’d said,
“I love the accessories my girlfriend eri makes, but this girl is also making jewellery and I bet she will love it too. I want to introduce them”,
so I met Natasha.
Natasha is making jewellery under the name ‘Mondo Mondo’ and like Daniel said, I ended up loving her work straight away.

In particular I cherish this three-ring piece nearly everyday. Her jewellery has a strong humour to it and feels slightly aged (this is good).
Her works will only be handled in Japan, so we definitely have some kind of connection.
Last year, while Natasha showed my around here studio with three others, as I was chatting with Natasha at her house I found out that she is actually an old friend of Asma from LA (this is an amazing connection) In addition to jewellery she has also made a fragrance, which I was able to catch a brief hint of in her studio and was surprised how well it embodies her jewellery.
Although nostalgic, I can feel the dry wind of the West Coast, without it feeling humid. Innocent like a girl, while at the same time possessing sex appeal.

I love the smokey, woody, and spicy scent.
Too sweet is not good.
I find it hard to come across a perfume I like, and usual only find something simple like pachouli, but I like all and any of the fragrances Natasha has made.
Every one is poetic with all prepared by herself, and each comes with a story written on the back of each scent.

‘Hysteria’
‘Cowboy’
‘The Center of world’
‘Summer & Smoke’
‘Doll’
Any of these names are pretty good.

I look forward to the day when these fragrances and jewellery are lined up with each other in the shop.
