Exhibition by Simon Fujiwara sponsored by the Prada Foundation"Who the Bær"lands in Japan. "Who the Bær", which was born during the 2020 coronavirus lockdown, was created by Simon"A childlike Dadaist reaction to the increasingly irrelevant world of hyper-capitalist entertainment culture."Manga characters created with inspiration from anime, theme parks, and fairy tales. Starting with a large-scale exhibition at the Prada Foundation in 2021, the show has been held at the Witte de Witt Contemporary Art Center in Rotterdam.

Simon makes Who a cartoon character, but does not define personality, personality, identity, gender, or sexuality. Inhabiting a flat online world without a clear design, Simon engages in the quest for 'self' while transforming who into various themes such as the climate crisis, cultural appropriation, cosmetic surgery and pop art. It highlights the possessed modern society.

The exhibition hall on the 5th floor of the Prada Aoyama store is divided into multiple areas covered with pastel-colored carpets to explore different aspects of Who. Beginning with a giant collage modeled after the cover of a book introducing Who itself, "Who is Who?", the stop-motion animation "Hello Who?" express identity. Next, at the museum and art gallery “Who Ziam”, which collects the images of Who the Bær, we will consider the awareness of issues such as cultural appropriation and the return of heritage through the narcissistic aspect of Who transforming into a masterpiece that represents art history. do. Furthermore, the exhibition concludes with the animatronics of Who the Bær's three-dimensional figure Who's Only Whoman? (2021), the largest in the series. Featuring a large number of new works that transform into various forms of expression such as animation, sculpture, and illustration, this exhibition introduces Who's journey to find his eternal identity.
