Inspired by science fiction and robot anime such as "Star Wars," "Zoids," and "Gundam," Keito Ikeuchi features a futuristic style that combines off-the-shelf plastic models and industrial parts. A modeling writer. In recent years, he has been highly acclaimed both in Japan and overseas, including providing works for "SHU UEMURA" and "GENTLE MONSTER", designing the jacket for KOHH's album, and working on the campaign visual for "BALENCIAGA". ing. Ikeuchi was born in Tokyo in 1990. After graduating from the Department of Information Design at Tama Art University, he spent most of his student days making plastic models. In his graduation work, he created a "hybrid diorama" that combines plastic models from the idea that "the inside of a personal computer looks like a secret base". Based on that work, it has now evolved into a form of production based on wearable industrial products such as suits, headsets, and gadgets.

The inspiration is "from movies, novels, philosophical books, etc.", which is quite intelligent. Near the entrance of the venue, there is a philosophical book "Single Machine" that unravels Marcel Duchamp, who was influenced by Ikeuchi. At first glance, it seems that it is calculated precisely, but there is no blueprint, and the method of making is extremely sensuous. It is said that it will procure plastic models as materials through online shopping and apply what they are interested in. The part I often use is the connection part of the robot, because I don't want to put in strange intentions. The fact that you can see rabbit ears or tsuno-like motifs on the headset is due to the influence of the animation of the 90's and 2000's, and the composition of many works is symmetric in the Stanley Kubrick movie. It seems to have influenced.
A work made by combining such a rare sense goes well with fashion. Create a world view of the work by coordinating with yourself and taking pictures. "I like clothes that have functions in a minimalist design," he said, and at the exhibition, they matched perfectly with "UNITED NUDE," "MINOTAUR," and "ACRONYM." ..

The new ambition is to create a room that looks like a "greenhouse." I would like to expect future activities that continue to evolve by jumping out of diorama works. Most of the works on display were sold out early. I would like you to step into the world of Ikeuchi, which is getting more and more attention.
