"Dior" has announced a collaboration project with "Sacai." The artistic directors for men's clothing Kim Jones and Chitose Abe will be creating a capsule collection for men. The "Dior and Sakai" capsule collection will​​​ be released in November, 2021.

In this collaboration between Dior and Sacai, the two designers who have a long-standing friendship express the heritages and cultures of the brands through their creative works. 2​​2​2​​A Dior logo with the Sacai logo superimposed on the "i" serves as the signature for this collaboration project.​​​​

The collection features a fusion between Dior's specialty tailoring and savoir-faire (which the brand has a long history with) and Sacai's taste in sportswear. Dior-like overcoats, tailleur oblique figures, and flowery decorations are embellished with Sacai-like materials and techniques. The basic tones of black and white accentuate these characteristics. The denim used is made in Japan and the outline and functional details of the workwear are mixed with the refined creative works of COUTURE MAISON.   

Additionally, the collaboration items also include bags and accessories. The Sadle bag features a mix of leather and nylon in a bomber-jacket olive and vivid orange. As for shoes, signature Dior items have been reimagined through the lens of Sacai. For example, extra layers have been added to the Dior Snow and Dior Explorer shoe soles. The collection also features a necklace with a brass CD logo decorated in gold and silver and with Sacai's signature pearls.
