Hiroshi Fujiwara and Okamoto Kouki team up as ORDER of THINGS to stream their "shoegazing" first single
Hiroshi Fujiwara and Okamoto Kouki, guitarist of the band OKAMOTO's, have teamed up as ORDER of THINGS. Their first single with two tracks, "Mind Roaming" and "Sixth," is available on digital music platforms from March 24.
The two artists have been good friends for a long time but have teamed up for the first time to release music. They seem to have good chemistry together, creating the songs together in just three to four hours. Okamoto Kouki mainly wrote the lyrics and then finished them off as if he were keeping a group journal with his counterpart. However, Hiroshi Fujiwara figured out the basic chords, and Okamoto Kouki added various arrangements to complete them. Experience a "floaty feeling" coming from the instruments and chorus unique to ORDER of THINGS and feel as if you are actually floating in the air.
A creative team that has worked on many of Hiroshi Fujiwara's music videos has come together for this project. Shunsuke Watanabe (aka. Schroeder-Headz) has joined them as a keyboardist, and ODDJOB's Shingostar directed the music video. "Mind Roaming" is also made in collaboration with ODDJOB's Ryunosuke Takahashi and "Sixth" with the video director and collage artist, onnacodomo.
