sacai has joined forces with long-time friend KAWS for the first time in its Fall/Winter 2021 Men's Collection. This season takes the creativity born from the shift of street-based punk to hiphop and mixes it with the counterculture codes born out of the 1960s to put together some freeing styles. sacai picked out the brands' common details and styles for a classic look that is uniquely sacai.

■ sacai and KAWS pay homage to "wearable art" in their first collaboration

This collaboration with KAWS pays homage to "wearable art" created by Yves Saint Laurent after his encounters with works by Dutch abstract painter Piet Mondrian. The relationship between KAWS and Abe has been superimposed on the contexts of both men that are hidden in the Mondrian look, which has continued to be popular since its debut in 1965.

The collection features two color patterns: multi-colored and camouflage.​ ​KAWS's artworks meld perfectly with the silhouettes of sacai's Fall/Winter 2021 Men's and Pre-Fall 2021 Women's collections. The lineup also includes accessories such as bags and socks, as well as blankets that embody the artwork. In July, the Nike and sacai collaboration "sacai and KAWS Blazer Low" sneakers will also come out.
