Konpira udon

When I was a high school student, there is a udon restaurant that I used to go to with my friends. "Kinpira Udon" was next to the teahouse right next to the entrance to the Oita Takemachi Shopping Street.
Gobo tempura udon with fox toppings. For some reason, Kitsune Udon is cheaper than gobo heaven toppings, so I asked (laughs).
The soup has a unique richness and freshness, and I love it so much that I have come to buy only soup for the New Year's soba. I didn't have much in Oita and I didn't eat much, but I had the opportunity to visit Hita after a long time. Yes, it was originally a drive-in store in Hita, and now there are several in Hita. In fact, the founder's daughter is a classmate of my mother (laughs).
I asked for a nostalgic taste, but I was never betrayed. That soup. I felt that the unique freshness had faded, but that was probably because the smell of roasting tea leaves was drifting from the tea shop next to me at the Oita store. However, the noodles were pattern-wise (close to Fukuoka) or extremely stiff. I think Oita was a little more impressive, but I'm not sure.
I want to go again if I have the opportunity. But in Hita, yakisoba is given top priority.
