Dot portrait born from pixels Hajime Kuwazono's solo exhibition “tie” starts
A solo exhibition "tie" by artist Hajime Kuwazono, which expresses the potential of self and others, was started at UNION SODA in Fukuoka.
Hajime Kuwazono was born in Fukuoka in 1995 and graduated from Kyoto Seika University. By describing the distance that exists between people in a metaphor, he creates works with an approach of confronting himself. In addition to holding a solo exhibition at a gallery in Spain in 2016, his works have also been exhibited recently at the PORTRAIT exhibition held at The Mass and Flower Huddle, a moss dropping exhibition at PHILLIPS TOKYO.
"Tie" will challenge the first exhibition format, in which a photo of an acquaintance is turned into pixels and only a series of the same name, expressed as a dot-like aggregate, is displayed. The original picture of the jacket of Hiroshi Fujiwara's new album "Time Machine", drawn using the techniques of the series, is also displayed at the venue.
