I'm interested in Punk and Sex Pistols and the people who invented them.
HIP HOP and PUNK crossed after going through SOUL, R&B that I liked before that,
And Malcolm is the person who was there.
Anyhow, I was really interested in what he did.
As I learned about Karl Marx as Anarchy and Chaos from Punk,
l came to know of Soweto from Duck Rock, learning the music of the world.


The shoes he wore around the time. Back then, I was looking for the same shoes and wore them.

I really wanted them again, and managed to make a pair somehow or other until a sample was produced,
but they’re not for sale. Well, may be it was ahead of its time.
However, they’re an important item with regards to early hip hop.

I had a cola while Malcolm had wine and salami in his kitchen at home at the time.
We talked endlessly about New York and Hip Hop. And a week later would travel from London to NYC for the first time.
