I always long for the Osechi from ‘Tsubame Grill’.
Although I honestly think this will be do, I am not in Tokyo at the end of the year. I’m bound to be asked to go to the department store when heading home, however, they started delivering Osechi nationwide from around last year. The one I trust the most as far as department store food is concerned is Takashimaya’s limited online Osechi.
When I went to the Tamagawa Takashimaya today, they’re already handing out Osechi pamphlets!
Of course, I took one home with me. And turning it over also see they’re delivering ‘Kiyoken’ Osechi over a wide area too! Fantastic!
Takashimaya will begin taking reservations from 10am on Sept. 21st.​ ​‘Kiyoken' has already begun accepting orders by telephone or fax​ ​it seems.
Should I wait a little longer to pile in and decide ...? This is a problem. The one fun problem there is a year.
