Director Guillermo del Toro’s ‘The Shape of Water’ screenplay and story were a bit clichéd but I guess there were also several good scenes like this the director wanted to shoot. Since it’s not the sort of film for those who want reality in their films, it’s for those who enjoy the world of fiction. However, I was surprised it won the Academy Award for Best Picture.

There was a slight set up towards the end but I personally liked it.
