This is another ‘lucky find’ inflight movie, and unreleased in Japan.
What did the birth and success of ‘Winnie the Pooh’ bring about for the author (A.A Milne) and his family?
This is also a story of a family, and the war that runs through them.It seems the relationship between father and son that once came together in the book was actually difficult after this. I would love to go the the book shop opened by his son, Christopher Robin.
Come to think of it, I don’t remember ever reading ‘Winne the Pooh’ properly. Maybe I’ll buy it once again and try reading.
