Tometeba

This interesting looking izakaya featured on Matsuko’s tv programme.
While I’ve been renewing old friendships with high school classmates, there is never anyone that will go with me. There are several stores in Tokyo in spite of the being a restaurant from Kyushu.
Tebasaki karaage (deep-fried chicken wings) were skewered. Which is I guess why the shop’s called Tometeba (chicken wings on sticks).
Just like ‘Yamachan’ and ‘Fūraibō’, the flavour is salted and salty-sweet.
Of course, there’s only a signboard menu which is fine. The other menu feels like the length and breadth of Kyushu, and gyōza look good too. Beer is a bit bland though (lol)
I went to the shop on the outskirts of Kabukicho. I wondered why this place, but there was a ‘Yamachan’ shop right next to it. Makes sense (lol).
