Installation by Herzog & de Meuron and Ai Weiwei.
Images are captured by wall or ceiling hung cameras on the way in. They’re then projected on the floor as an after image with time-lag for all to see.
But the main point is, what followed was fun. Going outside, moving from the front entrance to the second part of the venue, you search for your face shot with an iPad. It’s really easy to pinpoint your image taken by a drone at the venue.
We are monitored everywhere.
Large scale interactive content dressed as art is all the rage recently even in the public spaces in Japan, but all the same, this draws a line under the subject.
There is also a live-stream.
