I always cook motsu-nabe if there ever the chance of a family get-together since it is easy to prepare, well, putting it together is always tricky, and a quick glance reveals kamo-nabe (duck hot pot) in Ōita has a pretty good reputation.
The restaurant in Beppu became cooking kamo-nabe as there is an ANA training close by and it became popular with pilots and cabin attendants.
You can’t be ordered online. Only by fax. Worried, I called for confirmation but it was fine (lol).
So, this nabe is certainly tasty. It comes with all the vegetables, but vegetables in Kyūshū are delicious as well.
The taste intensifies as they’re boiled down and finally thickened with a zōsui of rice …
Since the taste of Kyūshū is basically sweet its irresistible for people with similar taste buds. I’m ordering this again.
