The Chinese restaurant is somewhere in Azabu.
It’s not listed on Tabelog, and there is no information about restaurant online at the moment.
So, without a shop name to go by the only guide is the cuisine.
Hakusai-zuke (pickled cabbage) soup overflows with taste to begin with. And after I am brought some other things like yaki-gyōza spruced-up with rā-yu chili oil.
The long-awaited main nabe hotpot is a strong dish regardless of how it looks. Kinoko mushrooms are finely chopped and extremely delicious.
Of course this is not enough by itself, and anyhow there is the mizu-gyōza (soup-based). Here the ta-re sauce really comes alive again and the vinegar works as well.
Last up is tōnyū (soy milk) tantanmen noodles.
I haven’t been this impressed in a while. I could have gone for two days in a row without leaving (laugh)
I’m going back soon.
