Uso no Sensou (War of Lies)
For now I’ve scheduled a really popular drama to be recorded every week with the idea of watching them all at once.
At least that was the plan. I deleted the whole lot without realizing, even the ones that were reserved. I never really watched them, especially the prime-time drama, but when I saw this by chance I though it was interesting when I watched it both first and second time.
Even though scenes were filled with people as if part of some trendy drama, with camera work and colouring from the beginning just like Fuji TV, I was drawn toward the mute charm of Tsuyoshi Kusanagi as well as the richness of where they shot. They’ve pinned the style down really well each time. Someone unexpected seems to play an unexpected role at the very end.
I must make sure to check it out every week.
