More curry research from Osaka.
‘Rebel Curry’ is on the fabric street in Semba. It seems to roast it’s own spices.
Ask for the classic menu when going first time. and without question, go for chicken. However, this doesn’t apply if Japanese aigake curry is on the menu. Go for zakkoku mixed rice with keema on top and heaps of pickles.
Guess it looks a little like ‘Curry-no-toriko’ in Kanda, with the same fried chicken every time.
I was a little concerned about the chicken’s texture, whether because of being slightly stir-fried or a little firmer due to being marinated but in the end the curry turned out to be delicious.
