‘Yuuen’ in Yotsuya’s Araki-cho area has split off from the Chinese teppanyaki shop ‘Shanwei’.
It’s delicious here.
From starters onward’s its all good. Highlights include shark fin harumaki rolls and stir-fried oysters. Even home cooked specialties like big sized gyoza and tender steamed chicken feel as if they taste even better. Other than a final bowl of men noddles, there was black rice chahan (fried rice) or oolong tea chahan that apparently is okoge and chargrilled grilled. Yet I took the risk of having normal chahan which, of course, was delicious.
I have the hunch it’s almost guaranteed to be difficult making a reservation. Along with ‘Michishirube’ and‘Yakitori Ogawa’ this place has joined the list of places to drop by before heading onto ‘Snack Urban’ (laugh). But there are more delicious places to eat in Araki-cho.
