There are no winners in war.
I thought the Star Wars spin-off wouldn’t be that interesting if only slipped in between other episodes but it was really interesting and also had a really strong story at it ’s core. In a way it was reminiscent of Gareth Edwards other films like Godzilla, depicting the brutality and fear some of the battle scenes in other Star Wars films lacked.
However, I was worried that it devoted way too much time to looking beautiful. But apart from that it made for a really good Star Wars film.
And next year’s Episode 8? I guess Garth Edwards would be a good choice. (laugh)
