Chow shop

Instead of simply going when theres the need for some editorial consultation, I want to visit ’Magazine House’ headquarters in Higashi Ginza as much as possible. Why is that, you ask? Because, “Choushiya is there”.
This so-called butcher began selling fried take-away food as a side-business which now has grown, and think it’s the only part that now remains. Anyway, croquette bread tastes delicious. You can choose between either a hot dog or sliced bread, but I definitely like the latter. Sandwich fillings range from deep-fried sliced ham to potato salad but I prefer croquette. Bread with each order is dressed in mustard and ‘Tonkatsu’ sauce (sweet and tangy) and filled with croquette, then cut in half and neatly wrapped in paper. It’s tasty when really hot but once cooled-down is also pretty good. I think well-known shops in Tokyo like this should be supported so they don’t disappear.
Be careful when you go as they close for lunch.
