But I ’m sure once the number of these in Japan have been added this will become a premium model. Mercedes Benz Japan really wanted to add but perhaps never got around to it. Now it might be a priority in Japan.

The model that replaces W464 doesn’t come out until 2018, but when you see this video the bumper solidity is clearly different.

However, theories for this W464 being, the “design is similar with the model completely changed”, or, “the model is basically the same with just collision protection spread the entire width”, are a mystery. If a completely new chassis is true, it can certainly be said to have kept the concept resembling the car here. I think its a bit of both. At least it looks more than likely the interior has changed.
