Nihonbashi Kakigaracho, Sugita

Under his supervision I accompanied Ishikawa from Marka who made a reservation at the sushi restaurant.
MarkaStarters were elaborate and wonderfully arranged. The best part being the iwashi nori-maki (sardine rolled in nori).

In contrast, the sushi style is authentic. Fish and toppings are bigger and the rice is much softer. I like rice that’s firm but the consistency is splendid and don’t mind this at all. A pretty strange phrase that comes to mind is ‘delicious sushi is really delicious’. It’s carefully put together while almost dream-like in appearance.
Being way too delicious I greedily add two sushi together without thinking and end up completely stuffed. I wish I had a little more self control.
The next reservations are for July next year. It’s so far ahead but will try my best to make one for then.
