I start by eating soba in Kannai standing up because of what I wrote before. I think I’m slightly full after going to ‘Midori’ so took the opportunity to visit here.
You buying a ticket from the vending machine and then stand while eating soba. But they also work perfectly well as a small snack with alcohol.
It’s counter-only but there are chairs at the back. It could be a good place to come at night and really drink.
The recipe for Dashi-maki tamago (omelette infused with dashi soup stock) comes from the main shop. Even the quality of soba is not at all the same as you would expect from eating while standing.
This shop is amazing.
It’s the first place I’d come for lunch if I was in the Kannai area. In the evening as well.
