It’s the height of fair-mindedness, speaking directly to people when touching on taboos and not simply arranging statistics on a page.
It says 77% of IQ is inheritable. In other words it seems intelligence is naturally inherited.
Though on the other hand, for immigrants to America that speak little English, their children speak fluently. Cancer in families is also mentioned: What’s inherited, and what is not.
I’ve thought a lot recently about what has been mentioned in the media as ‘chains of poverty’. What can’t the children from parents that have fallen into poverty escape? Is poverty itself is somehow genetic.
Flipping through pages I feel like the answer is here somewhere.
This is bound to be a good read for anyone interested.
