In the ‘70s, I loved Punk/New wave, and at the same time Soul/Disco as well. Back then, rummaging through the foreign record stand, less than half were available to buy domestically. The first time I heard a disco mix was a Studio 54 record but this was a mix was released afterwards. I wasn’t that familiar with Studio 54, but nevertheless this album told me everything I needed to know. Unfortunately this mix was only Side A, with the B-side a compilation of ballads. Even still the selection of music was good.
